Thanks Magic. Earving "Magic" Johnson put a lot of work in his business and in sharing it in his book. It is a wonderful read and should encourage many to use the tools he has provided to be taken seriously in business.
There are NO fillers in this book. I saw this book displayed at a bookstore while I was awaiting a flight back to Chicago from Fort Lauderdale.I read the preface in the store and vowed to pick this book up at my local library. It has valuable information along with working websites that were just as resourceful as the book.I made my purchase the 3rd day from Amazon.com, for once I can breathe a breath of fresh air, the book left a good pit in my stomach and a good chill down my spine. All I can say is Earvin Johnson thank you for sharing your passion it was felt throughout your book. (you know when someone starts filling the pages because they have no substance to deliver) each sentence has a relevant point from Beginning to End. That's my process; I read the book from the library first to decide if I want to make the purchase. I have read so many "business books" for Entrepreneurial and have been very disappointed, that was until I picked up the copy of MAGIC'S book. His book was an easy read I read it within 2 days I started the read each night before I would turn in for bed.
I'm recommending it to all of my business coaching clients. I always like Magic Johnson as a basketball player, but after reading this book I have greater respect for him as an All-Star businessman. He's worked harder on his business game than he did as a hoopster, and has helped thousands of people in the process.
Well guess what ladies and gentlemen. My excitement dates back to the 80's when he lead the Los Angeles Lakers to many victories. Johnson giving us his personal knowledge to succeed. He is more consumed with showing you how to invest in your own creativity so you can establish a mission for your company. That's when I use to watch basketball all the time. I have been hearing about his business success as an entrepreneur for years. How many organizations are out there showing young kids how to put a book together and get it published. The end result is that I am motivated to be a better entrepreneur and I appreciate Mr. I asked that question because in my opinion giving knowledge is the ultimate gift.
Magic was a nickname given to him based off of what he did as a "play-maker" on the court.
